Mrs. Sandra Rodriguez

Mrs. Sandra Rodriguez was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, and raised in Guanajuato, Mexico, before immigrating to Dallas at the age of eight. She grew up in Oak Cliff and is a proud product of DISD. 

She has been an educator in DISD since 2013, primarily serving in the Pleasant Grove area and working with students from kindergarten through sixth grade. Her recent role as a demonstration teacher helped her realize that her passion extends beyond inspiring students—she is equally committed to empowering and supporting fellow educators. This is why she is so excited to join the San Jacinto community, where she looks forward to contributing to both student achievement and teacher growth.

Mrs. Rodriguez earned her Master’s in Bilingual Education from Southern Methodist University. She is married to her high school sweetheart and loves to travel, having visited 6 of the 7 Wonders of the World!
